Katie LoDuca joined the Thomsen Team in 2020 as Listing Manager. She helped create and define the new role, taking great satisfaction in the creative aspects of the job: curating photos for listings and crafting personalized property descriptions that perfectly capture the look and feel of each home sold.  She brings an abundance of client service and administrative experience to her current role as the Thomsen Team’s Transaction Manager. In 2022, Katie obtained her WI Real Estate Salesperson license to better support the Team and its clients. Katie’s meticulous attention to detail and commitment to prompt communication ensure that your real estate transaction is managed with precision. She is proud to assist you each step of the way from “Accepted Offer” to “Closed.”

Professional Journey With over 14 years of experience in various administrative and managerial roles, Katie’s organizational skills and efficiency are at the core of Thomsen Team’s operations. Her 11 years of client service experience mean that clients’ needs are met effectively. She is central to the seamless flow of transactions and successful closings.

Diverse Background Previous professional experience in HR, retail, and museums have provided Katie with a wide array of experiences, skills, and knowledge that make her unique to the team. This background has given her strengths in clear communication and comprehensive record-keeping. Katie LoDuca’s blend of administrative expertise, loyalty, reliability, creativity, adaptability, and diverse personal interests make her indispensable to the Thomsen Team.

Education Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and History as well as certificates in East Asian Studies and European Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Community and Volunteer Involvement Upon graduation from college and collegiate fencing career, Katie returned to Catholic Memorial High School in Waukesha as fencing coach alongside her former coaches. In her fencing “retirement,” Katie continues to support the team by helping setup and run the annual Catholic Memorial High School fencing tournament.

Personal Pursuits Katie was born and raised in Wisconsin. She has a deep connection to the Milwaukee area through her family’s business. You mean the music store LoDuca’s? Yep. LoDuca Accordions? Absolutely. The wine LoDuca’s? Yes. She grew up helping with the family business—everything from making wine coolers and managing wine booths for summer lakefront festivals to data entry and wine label design. She has a firm understanding of what it means to work “all hands on deck” and enjoys a new challenge.
